What are you all getting your little ones for Chrissy?

This is my first Chrissy with my little one.

I know she's only 4 months and not old enough for this yet but I got it for her anyway because ma ma is super excited :).

Besides it's the perfect decorating piece for her room and it's heirloom quality. it arrived last week and it's even better in real life! I'll post photos after Christmas.

We also got these ride-on pony cycles from the same place.

The large Zebra for nieces and nephew to share and the Unicorn for the god children to share.

Super cute!

The main present we got our little one (16 months) was his own little couch with a foot stool. It's not a foam fold out, but a proper couch. I can't wait to give it to him, he'll love it!

Then the usual little presents, lots of books because he loves to "read".

We bought him an advent calendar this year as well, I think he likes that best so far haha

LOVE the gorgeous little pink car. The little kidney grille will surely condition her to a life long love of all things BMW :).

Guess what I will be doing with my Christmas Eve. Its all worth it come morning though.

hahaha that reminds me of one year when a friend of ours bought a huge swing set for his kids. It required a lot of putting together.

We all got an invitation to a Christmas Eve BBQ to "Help Terry have an erection"

It ended up waaay to late and the swings had numerous bolts missing, ended up with the swings being tied to the side of the shed so the kids could at least swing on Christmas morning..

Kids don't care. They will have more fun with the boxes and wrapping paper no matter what you get.

For our newest grandson's first birthday we went to Ikea and bought him the kiddie table and two chairs. Should get years of use from it.

Heaps of fun. First thing he did with it was to push one of the little chairs over to the couch and climb up to reach the forbidden items formerly out of his reach!! His mum and dad weren't too amused, but we got a good laugh.

I'll get my 11yr old niece whatever I'm told to. Unless things have changed in the last month or two I'm sure it will be a crappyly built one direction branded something.

A lump of coal of they are lucky. :D

Nope - dont do Christmas, Easter or birthday presents. Complete waste of money, which adds to the amount of crap around the house, and has very limited increase in psychological satisfaction. Especially true for young kids and anyone over about 10yo.

Though in saying that I did give my neice a large empty box for her birthday (ticked a bucket list item). She unwrapped it and played in it for days. Turned out to be her fav gift (along with the other empty boxes from her other toys). If mum ever tried to put it away it turned to tears.
