What fees are there really?

If you want a loan of say, $150K, what fees should you be prepared for? Roughly how much extra is there that you need to budget for?

Hiya

Some costs you should think about are:

1. Appln fees, zero to around 1200 fro some of the cheaper mortgage managers

2. Stamp duty on the mortgage 320 to 550 depending on state.

3. Registration of Mortgage/Transfer fee 60 to 550 depending on state

Dont forget your conveyancing costs

Stamps on the land which could be as high as 7660
