What to ask council? Also Zoning maps and how to read them, what info is important?

Hi all,

1. I'm looking to understand what exactly to questions to ask council when researching an area (re-zoning?) and why this is important to know
(I'M SIMPLY DOING A BUY AND HOLD STRATEGY OTHERWISE I UNDERSTAND YOU GO TO THEM TO UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO FOR A SUBDIVISION, DEVELOPMENT ETC.).

2. How do I read a zoning map such as this https://www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/u...anning/redcliffe/SupersededPlanningScheme.pdf and where do I find a zoning map of this region which shows me what areas are zoned for (redcliffe/moreton Bay).

What exactly am I meant to be looking out for in terms of zoning maps?

What type of zoning should I be wary of, also can you ask for a zoning to be changed on your lot by discussing with council? Can council change zoning anytime they please (provided they give an announcement?)

What information is important from council, that might affect prices in the future?
