Y yadeh 4th Jun, 2006 #1 Hi guys I have got $10,000 spare cash. I do not know which way is better to go: buy shares with that, or put it in the PPOR loan to offset the 7.5 percent interest. Any advice? Yadeh

Simon 4th Jun, 2006 #2 Put it into the Offset now. If you can identify a share which you believe can outperform the 7.5% after tax then reconsider. But certainly the offset is a more secure investment.

M Medine 4th Jun, 2006 #3 Hi Yadeh, If your debt is non-deductible you might want to pay your cash off your loan to reduce it. You can get tax advice about this from your accountant. Cheers, Medine
