I haven't tried any of the 'automatic' apps/software out there. For editing photos to produce visualisations I use Photoshop. 12 years of experience with the program as a graphic designer I'm sure means much more power and control over image manipulation. I'm actually thinking of creating a side business to create visualisations for clients working on renovations - they send me the photos and colours they're thinking of, and I send back proofs for a fee. Or I can provide a colour consultancy as well, even partnering with interior designers. Hmm, ideas ideas. What do you guys think - is there a market there for that? I can see DIY apps being very limiting, but I honestly haven't tried them.
