Sorry I don't intend to spark one of these debate but I randomly stumbled upon this and cringed at what I saw today.

It's pretty sickening.

I see a slight increase in tolerance form generation to generation but the hate is taught to kids which is sad. The answer is education is it not? IMO racist people are not the brightest bunch.

Seems like bus and trains are one of the easiest mediums for these incidents to occur.

If you remember how terribly run the Libs and Nats parties were in Qld in the 90's/early 00's, you can understand why One Nation was able to attract such a large chunk of disaffected far right conservatives. Hopefully the LNP can pull it together and contain PUP and whatever other fringe groups pop up.

On the OT, almost all the abuse and anti-social behaviour (including racism) I see directed at innocent folks going about their business seems to involve either adolescents, substance abuse, or a combination of both.
