When is the deadline?

If I'm using an accountant to do my 2012/13 tax return do I have until 31 st March or 31 st May to get it lodged?

If you are a new client to the agent now its determined by how you lodged last year.

If you are an existing agents it is based on a range of factors. Some taxpayers have earlier dates based on their tax payable and other factors (entity etc). Final date is 15 May 14 BUT...If agent has 85% on time lodgement they may waive penalties if you also pay tax on time.
