Whether to trust the trust

Hi Guys,

I am looking at buying another IP, hopefully in the next week, and would like your valued opinions on whether or not I should put the new IP in my MGS HDT.

Should I just buy it in my own name until there is a tax ruling on HDT's?

Hi Bazza

We'll probably be buying later in the year and it'll be in our own names. Not happy with our HDT because of uncertainty and the fact that it doesn't do what we thought / were told it would do. Also with Qld landtax threshold having gone up again we'll have a property "for free" left against our own names.
