which aussie lenders finance oversea IP's

Hi there,

I am very interested to buy some IP's in Germany. Well, we are Germans but Permanent Residents in Australia. I have talked to a couple of German-based lenders but it's getting tricky to get a finance from there (altough interest rates over there are around ~5.6 % (!!!) at the moment with the chance to lock in for 10+ years ...

So, I thought maybe some Aussie lenders are willing to finance oversea projects ?? Any suggestions ???

Hi Thomas,

I believe ANZ have an office in Germany. I think its mainly for investment banking activities but they may be able to assist you. You won't be able to get a loan in Australia against overseas property (with the exception of New Zealand).
