Which software is recommended?

I am interested in what software members would recommend to use for a financial/mileage & basic recordkeeping for up to 4 rentals. I am not interested in using an online service.
Many of the "packages" that i have found seem to be
A. not australian
B. have loads of proformas for letters etc that i am sure i will never need
C. seem to be on the expensive side either upfront or want a yearly fee.
I would appreciate any comment as the paper book keeping is getting a bit onerous. Positive or negative comments on any product very welcome!
 
There are many here who use Property Manager Pro, but there have been a few threads on this topic, so do a bit of a search and you'll see some other options.

I use PMP for my record keeping, but also love Quickbooks and could achieve good results with that. QB much more expensive though. I think I paid $100 for PMP.
