Can someone help me. My brother and I own a property we bought 6 years ago. I want to sell. He does not want to sell. He wants to keep it as an investment. He has paid my share out, and I have made money out of it but someone has to pay the stamp duty to get my name of the title. He says I should pay because I wanted to sell. Therefor I have to pay any costs involded.I ve been told he should pay. Who has to pay?

The purchaser pays stamp duty.
technically the purchaser should pay - that is your brother.
however, when you orginally bought the property, did you have an exit agreement in place? the exit agreement should state the proceedure in this type of scenario.
if not, then you and your brother need to work something out between yourselves. yes - he "should" pay but you also need to consider family relationships.
perhaps going halves?
