Will the banks consider our trust-owned properties?

Hello,

We have a Hybrid Discretionary Trust with a company as trustee. We have three IPs owned in the name of this company. We also own our PPOR in our names.

We are looking at buying another IP, but this time in our own names.

In considering us for a loan, will the bank look at the three trust-owned IPs? Or will our equity be calculated based only on our PPOR?

Depends..........

There are some that dont depending on the structure,and how the deal is placed, and who your existing loans are with.

Your broker would likely know what would apply in your situation.
