Yet Another Land Tax Question

Hi guys,

I have done a search on land tax and looked at the relevant QLD OSR website. I haven't found an answer to this question.

The OSR has the most updated information regarding the unimproved land value of the land you own. So when you go over the threshold, what actually happens?

Do you get notified, or is it something you should be following and telling your accountant?

Also, how does the land tax threshold work when two names are on the title?

Any help on this is much appreciated.

I presume it is the same as in NSW. You don't get notified, you have to tell them.
