$150-$200k

Looking at buying my next I.P
Where in Victoria would you put $150-$200k?
I'm thinking Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong hmmmmm
Doesn't matter if it's a good size unit or house.
Will be happy with slow long term growth as long as I can always keep the property tennanted.
Anyhoo, ideas appreciated!

My understanding is that its far better to buy 2 x cheap houses then to buy 1 expensive house due to many factors

however, im sure at a certain price point you wouldn't go any cheaper

would $150k be under that price point???

Can probably stretch to about $250k, thinking if I did i'd look at a flat or hopefully a unit in Frankston. I'd definietly rather go another in Frankston North but not much available under $300k now.

Ah thanks. I've been browsing Ballarat a bit. If you're prepared to buy in Sebastopol or Delacombe (for e.g), you might squeak a 1980s brick place for that kind of money.
There was one I quite liked in Delacombe for $190,000, renting on a month-by-month for $195. Had been on the market for a while, so might have been a bit cheaper than the $190,000 too. It's gone now though.

i bought in golden square, just on the south end of bendigo. liked it because of the proximity to town and because of the large block i got - 4900sqm.
