hi all this is my first post in this forum so please be patient... i am from perth wa and am currently building my first ip has been very good to me as it will leave my wife and myself withenough available equity to go straight into ip 2 and put some good cashflow in my pocket... what i would like to know is if somebodycould reccomend a good tax accountant in the perth area that will be able to tell me what i can and cant claim on this property... alsosomeonethat will beable to tell me which trust will be the best for my next ip, lately ive also started a bit of trading on the share market and was wondering if i could incorporate this into a trust ???

Why does your accountant have to be in Perth?

I live in Perth and use House of Wealth. When looking for an accountant in Perth i knew more than most of them!

Pick the best regardless where they are situated especially if they specialise in property.

Think of it as the difference between a GP who you go to for your daily coughs, colds, and snots versus a consultant who you visit because he is an expert in his field!

It's a good point. Service industries like this can be provided from anywhere.

Around 10% of my clients are from Canberra - and even some of those clients prefer the efficiency of phone/email over face to face.
