A different kettle of fish...

Don't quite know which forum this should be in but I'm sure that if it's in the wrong place, it will be moved / deleted. Anyway, here goes...

Does anyone know of any investors / venture capitalists who have access to US$4.5mil for a niche market air cargo operation serving the South Pacific islands?

This is not as crazy as it sounds, believe me. The company has massive profit potential. Operations are based in Brisbane but the company is incorporated in Saipan in the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) which is a 'Commonwealth Protectorate' of the USA and works under US law in all but labour, immigration and tax. The currency is the US dollar.

The instigator of this project has been working on it for over two years and has immense knowledge of the region. Demand for the service is confirmed by many letters of intent from prospective customers. The 160 page Business Plan has been scrutinised by several experts / specialists and has been audited by Ernst & Young.

A major attraction to any investor is that CNMI government have passed new legislation that provides for 100% tax rebate to any foreign investment for a 25 year period.

The company is prepared to negotiate finance on any reasonable basis i.e. loan, shareholding etc.

If anyone has any contacts who can deal with this sort of finance, or needs more information, please email me.
