Hope this will help others with ANZ SV loans.

Approached ANZ yesterday to find payout figures for 4 loans (800k+) due to
increase in interest rate above RBs .25%increase. Told them that I was looking to refinance to NAB or Bank of China who may be negotiable(no idea if they are).

The person I dealt with told me that she could authorise a small discount but would send the request to their loan retention section.

Anz came back today with an extra .2% off, which with the existing .7% off
leaves me at 5.76% SVR.

Worth a phone call

Clearly the level of debt you have allows you to negotiate more.

Over $750k with 'em and you're a fair chance. NAB would have been taken notice of but BOC wouldn't. They only care about losing out to the other majors.
