Beaudesert?

Hi,
Long time reader but new member...

Would appreciate any advice regarding purchasing NRAS new H/L in Beaudesert?

The new transport hub that is meant to be built in Bromelton makes Beaudesert seem good value but am concerned about long term growth.

Thanks

There is potentially a huge amount of land available in Beaudesert with little or no pressure on land supply. It concerns me a little that if you build a new house, it cannot be sold for more than its build price. It makes me wonder if there will be much capital growth prospects even if the town is expanding.

Thanks Sureline. Yes that is my concern, glad to have another persons opinion. Have our mortgage broker and an agent advising it's great, and the NRAS makes it attractive but long term I have concerns that you've confirmed. Thanks:)

Beaudesert has some pockets that are completely blacklisted by Genworth and QBE mortgage insurers - and it's essentially choc full of houses belonging to interstate investors. NRAS or not - the area is too big a risk. I would be giving this a thanks, but no thanks.
