Particularly for low-rise apartments in the inner west.

Strata Partners and Strata choice are two which I have dealt with who were better than others that I have come across.

Best go out to tender to a few.

Stanton and Taylor Strata Mgt are good. They manage most of our properties in the West. You can spot their complexes by the way of how clean they are!

I can't help with who is a GOOD strata manager, but I CAN tell who isn't.

Stay away from Raine & Horne St Mary's.

I think strata managers are good as long as there is no problem in the building and no disputes.

My building uses Whelan Property Group, but I do not share same opinion as DaveM.

We had building defects issues, cleaner issues, garbage issues and so many problems that were started by the developer but was dragged on by the strata company. But the problem dragged on because no one in the executive committee wanted to resolve it as they did not want to be blamed.

As long as strata management only does collection of levies, paying bills and holding meetings, anybody will be just as good. Their value and strength will be proved when the building has lots and lots of issues.
