Hello everyone!
We are pleased to announce this month's speaker, Dominic Gatling who takes us on his investment journey.
"Images of an impoverished old age, living off hand outs from the children, baby sitting in return for the use of the granny flat in a converted garage and absolutely no hope of buying a decent drop of red again forced Dominic Gatling to set off on his investment journey.
Travelling the world until his mid-40s with eight children (yes your eyes do not deceive you) in tow left Dom with the prospect of an extremely small superannuation nest egg- that is a humming bird sized nest egg as opposed to an ostrich sized one.
Faced with the reality of children still requiring financial backing until he is 60 AND a wife with a PhD in gratuitous spending, Dominic turned to the collective wisdom of a plethora of investment gurus in order to develop his own strategy for a comfortable retirement.
Dominic will share with you his insights into building an investment property portfolio using little more than equity in your principal place of residence and the cunning of a fox."
