Brassal 1788 development

Hi Everyone,
I am planning to buy one of the land and house on the new development in 1788 at Brassall.
Please provide your comments as this one i am planing my first interstate.
I am told the cost will be 401K with a rental return of 340-350 per week.
Is it a good deal for that area?

That is less than a 4.5% rental yield for, let's face it, a property a long 45km drive, one way to Brisbane's CBD.

The bulk of people that live there earn $40-60K pa. I guess the attraction for you as an investor is depreciation?

Personally, I can think of a lot better places to invest.
