CANBERRA FORMITE's - LUNCH

Hello fellow Canberrian's

I've been following this forum (and it's predecessor) for some time now, (not unlike many of you). I am interested in property investment and do dabble in it. I only briefly met some of you at DALEGG's talk and started thinking maybe we could meet over lunch sometime and swap some stories/ education (local or otherwise).

If you are interested, please let me know.

I was thinking something like the Vietnamese Resturant at the Griffith shops (12:30pm) on Thursday, 1 May 2003 or something similar (open to suggestion).

:D

Hi Brinkdude,

Am I included???? Seeing that my 'Home' is in Canberra :)

What about an evening cocktails session, where we can socialise over a few drinks and snacks?

And if you want to do this in early May, then my shout!!

Ahem, I am expecting the most of you to come to the Canberra share launch . . . so hope to see you then :D

Regards,

Steve

Meeting Point Fri; for further details.

Brinkdude,

Certainly you will get to meet people in Steve's launch.

Weekday lunches are certainly out for me, as for several others I suspect.

Some of us have been having a Cashflow luch on Sundays- but I have been a bit busy last month & this month, so haven't been able to get my act together.

That was in Queanbyan- but maybe a Cashflow game in Canberra one Sunday might be in order (Weston perhaps?)

Hi Steve,

It looks like its just you and me for lunch. You are always welcome. Other Formite's speak highly of you. I have learnt much from others on this forum and I will no doubt learn from you. My shout for lunch, if you can make it, you can buy the cocktails. (If lunch coincides when you are Canberra, that would be great, if not, we can do it another time.) SN, always welcome.

BD.

what times, which Sundays????

Brinkdude,

Lunch / dinner sounds good put me down as well. I work fairly flexible hours so can work around others times.

PM me if you intend to follow through with this, there are quite a few people in the ACT that read the forum so putting it in advance is a good idea.

Regards

Mr Ed

Hi Savanna & Mr Ed (and the rest of the Canberra Clan)

It will be good to meet you and share a bite to eat & a wine (I'll supply the odd bottle or two, if you don't object to much :D). I have booked a table and maybe we can have banquet or simliar . I will confirm numbers closer to the date.

See you then.

:)

Savanna,

A weekday lunch is usually difficult for me- even more so, getting paid by the hour, and having had two days off in the current fortnight (I'm looking forward to being less reliant on the j.o.b.).

Mr Ed has already responded... but, no matter what time, there will always be someone who can't make it.

Hi Canberrans,

Sadly I can't be there . . . doing the Melbourne Share Launch on Thursday, but:

My shout for Friday night drinks . . . Old Parliament House!

:D
Steve

Hi Geoff,

It was great to meet some of the people we talk to at last. We had Brinkdude, Mrs Brinkdude, Mr Ed, PaulM, Savannah and me.

Its also heartening to get some good advice from everyone. Particularly as they were all in a more advanced position than me. I'll certainly be looking forward to picking their brains some more (both on-line and at further "meets").

We should make it a regular thingy.

Thanks everyone.

Pedro
