Centrelink and a broken lease

I have an IP which has had two tenants brake leases within the last few months. The last one only lasted a couple of weeks before she bailed.

Centrelink was paying her rent from her benefit. It is under a PM. But I was wondering if anyone knows what happens if centrelink is involved with a broken lease? Will they still continue to pay the rent as per the agreement ?

Centrelink isnt responsible for the lease but will continue to pay until the tenant cancels the centrepay process. After that its bond and LL insurance time

It needs to be handled as a normal break lease situation even if centrelink is involved.
In many ways centrelink are much easier to handle with bond claims and tribunal hearings because only the facts are considered and there are no reactive outbursts by emotional tenants who just end up increasing car park fees and the financial result is exactly the same.

Tenant can cancel centrepay at any stage, break lease is irrelevant.

If they have a DHS bond though, regardless of the amount you're claiming from the bond you will need to attend tribunal.
