Hi all

Did anyone see the show about the man who collects chickens (and poultry in general) on ABC1 on Monday night?

I haven't seen a show that made me laugh and cry at the same time in years. Beautifully filmed, beautifully narrated story of a really beautiful man.

Yeah, it was good. I like those gentle stories about eccentrics. He reminded my of Kenny in the Aussie film a couple of years ago.

i missed that one! did you see the one about the couple who strived for years to propogate an organic balckberry farm, only to break up as soon as it became a real money machine? was a real anticlimax.

I know - I was more shocked at that ending than at most of the "cliffhanger" or shock ending movies.

It left me with my mouth open.

There is always something quirky and watchable on the ABC - or maybe I'm getting old

Damn, I missed it. I saw it being promoted beforehand, and wanted to watch this one.
