Just wondering what the consensus on a investment property in Chinchilla?
There is a lot of hype about big things that going on in the area although according to the Realestate agent I spoke to this morning things are pretty quite. I was asking about a 4x2x2 IP and he was saying that there are few of them sitting around vacant. Mainly because the owners are looking for high currently unachivable rents. Are the developers talking these towns up in order to sell their properties? I live in Gladstone another town that is getting a lot of hype, there are new developments going in everywhere but most locals are asking who is going to occupy these houses? Most workers needed for the LNG project are in the construction stage and they have moved out to camps on the island. Releasing a lot of houses back on the rental market and the same as Yarwun 2 project all up i think around 200 rental properties are back on the market. Am I missing something or do the developers know something we don't?
