Conference, airport parking tax deduct?

I am going to a work related conference next week on the Gold Coast. As I am paying all of my own expenses, it will all be a tax deduction for me. If I caught a taxi to and from our local airport I know it would be deductable, but if I drive my car and leave it in long term parking would this be a tax deduction?

I believe so too and there should also be an amount per km you can claim for the use of your car.
Check with your accountant for details.
