Converting current rego plates into personalised ones

Quick question - Qld based.
We are about to change our vehicle. Our current rego plates on the car are meaningful (ie the letters are my (passed away) Mum's initials. Can anyone tell me the process for making those plates into personalised ones. We collect new vehicle 11.1.11 so I will need to have set something in motion before then.

Go to www.ppq.com.au and you will see a button "replace or restyle an existing plate"

Enter your current plate and you will get a range of options. HOWEVER be aware that you may only be able have three letters and 2 numbers (not your existing 3)
