cost of fixing structure problem

I got a building report b4 signing contract.

It has vertically cracking on external foundation wall.50+ years timber house central coast.

One cracking is about 1 to 2 cm. Another one is 3 mm wide.

Also report mentioned house a little bit subsidence.

should I proceed with a discount or this is the risk I as a renovation idiot could not manage.
Thanks.
Will attach photo later.

Does the house sit on piers? If it does then one of the piers could be sinking (especially 60's homes built on clay piers). If so then you need underpinning and its not cheap.

What does the report say specifically?

Thank you

Cracking of a building element is a serviceability defect where in the
opinion of the inspector the function of the building element is impaired

The building is constructed on a combination of strip footings and piers.
Evidence of minor subsidence was noted to the footings. This should be
monitored over time and any increase referred to a Structural Engineer.

the photo attached. Thank you for the help.
