Dock to install - no specific mention in licence

hi
we have a dock station we would like to install next to our storage area - however the landlord has dissaproved of this stating it would block the public area car park. it will not and the licence does not specifically exclude the use of this. we need to install this dock in order to the business for the purpose of which we leased the storage area in the first place. any input / advice would be greatly appreciated

Why can't your delivery trucks have a dock levelling platform installed?

If the landlord doesn't have rights over the area, they can't grant rights to you to use the area. So, does the owner have rights over the space? Is there a question of paying a licence fee for the area that would be occupied by your equipment?
