I think what people are trying say is that there are many ways to measure economic growth in a country and that there probally is no one accurate method. Merely observing a country can also give you an indication..looking at developing and and a developed country will show differences in GDP.

But how do you measure it...obviously different methods: if I were to measure my manhood there are probally a dozen different methods lol.

You can't just put different countries next to
a ruler and measure their GDP. It ain't that easy.

This was actually a move forced by the EU to suck more money from Britain. Not really big noting themselves at all.

Good luck measuring illegal activity. You could be shot or beaten making enquiries to determine validity of the questionable source of the stats....You aren't proposing to check ATO benchmarks ...lol

Police often promote stats like less armed robbery and claim it means its a safer city. No it means they now rob soft targets and that banks have closed branches. Or they no longer have cash !!! My Westpac has a sign saying if you want $2K or more it has to be ordered three days earlier...WTF. 2K is not a lot of cash.
