Editing Posts

I just started a post asking for PC help, then fixed my own problem 5 mins later.

In the editing tools I tried to delete the thread I'd started as there hadn't been any replies yet, but couldn't. Is this something that could be introduced without too much trouble for these sort of situations. Only the ability to delete our own threads of course.

No - the best way to deal with this is to edit the post, delete all the text and change the title to something like "please delete" and/or use the "report this post" feature to alert the moderators that you would like the thread deleted.
