Electrical/Plumbing Plan Recommendations

Hi Everyone,

We are currently going through the process of planning/building our 'forever house' and I wanted to have electrical and plumbing plans drawn up to have these things properly defined before we start the build. We already have a fair idea of what will go where as the floorplan is locked in, but I really want to get into the nitty-gritty and have taps, waste, power points, switches, etc summarised in the plans.

While the architect can do this for us at an additional cost (was not part of the project scope) I expect this can be done for much less than the $1K he quoted. Any recommendations in Melbourne that could do this for us?

Thanks

Get a copy of the floor plan in dwg format, engage a decent drafty to to prepare 1:25 floor plan & elevations of each if the rooms.

This can be used if you have detailed tile layouts eg specialised splashbacks, electrical layout (showing types, height & position on walls), plumbing (though you may want a hydraulic engineer to design this) etc.

The specification usually covers of fitting selections.
