ETFs

As per dtraeger

Why ETF's and what's the strategy?

(VAS) Vanguard Australian Shares Index ETF

The Vanguard Australian Shares Index ETF provides exposure to approximately 290-300 of the largest companies and property trusts listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)

(VTS) Vanguard US Total Market Shares Index ETF

The Vanguard US Total Market Shares Index ETF provides investors with exposure to approximately 100% of the investable US share market and includes large, mid, small and micro cap shares regularly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and NASDAQ.

(VEU) Vanguard All-World ex-US Shares Index ETF

This index includes approximately 2,250 stocks of companies located in 46 countries, including both developed and emerging markets outside the U.S.

Low MER and lots of equity exposure which is good, but is there a strategy/plan?

I bought VTS for around $82 not long ago and now trading at around $105

it gives an additional layer of diversification with falling AUS$ and sort of recovering US economy.

I wish VTS didn't have Apple in their portfolio.

Etf investors which fund.? all cash in etfs now. vas.vts.veu.

Always good just to look at simple charts and not listen to what happens inbetween a greater rise or fall in value and saleability..imho..
