Euro Trip......

Hey all,

Im heading over to Scotland (Dundee) to visit my sister late April.

I Arrive April 28th and leave May 16th, so around 19 days.

A day or two will be spent in London and than to Scotland to see my sister, after that I will have about 2 weeks available to see a bit of Europe.

This my first time travelling there so I'm wanting some info on what to do in those two weeks and top places I should see.

* Perhaps a Contiki? Seeing it's my First time and covers a few places?

* Do it myself and book my own places and own sight-seeing?

I am an independent traveller, having travelled through South America, USA and Japan and do not usually partake in group tours. However last year I went on a group tour through India which was quite fun.

I have always wanted to visit Prague and Amsterdam.

Also what will the weather be like at that time? Cold?

Any info appreciated :)

Cheers,
Wirra

Hi Wirra

Where to start! So many places to choose from.

I wouldn't try and do too much. Maybe just pick a couple of places and spend a good amount of time in each.

Flying around Europe can be pretty cheap. Check out Easy Jet and Ryan Air for cheap flights.

http://www.skyscanner.com.au/ is an awesome site for finding cheap flights.

Prague is beautiful - there are lots of towns in the Czech Republic that are stunning and it's not that expensive.

Personally, I really enjoyed some of the eastern parts of the continent like Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro. Beautiful scenery, nice beaches and a little off the radar for tourists.

The Baltic counties up north are great too.

It all comes down to what you want to get out of a trip to Europe.

Cheers

Jamie
