The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) is reviewing the area of contracts for

difference. The market in contracts for difference attracted scrutiny when Michael Fares, an accountant

with National Australia Bank, and his brother John Fares made a profit of $A9.8 million after buying AMP

shares the day after the bank began a sharemarket raid on the company. No evidence could be found to

support charges of insider trading. However, ASIC is considering whether it should monitor trading in

contracts for difference.

Nothing to fear from me ASY, I have always been on guard for anything that was protected, some of the books where originally protected at one time but the authors saw fit to allow them to be free. My stuff is clean, I'm hoping Franks is as well!
