Yep - use it all the time.

I'm not too IT savvy so anytime I need assistance with website, etc I usually use that website.

I've actually made some good contacts from it. Whenever I need assistance now - I just shoot an email to a guy I've used via the site previously. We agree on a budget - and the payment/job is carried out via freelancer.

Yet most people still think going to Uni is a good career move.

I have used ODesk for years, (and thousands of dollars). My partner uses freelance. No complaints about either.
