Help::What issues when buying a property just subdivided?

Hi all

I am interested in a property which has just been subdivided into two lots so two tiles. The vendor is going to build a property in the new lot so well he is going to build on the next door of the property I am interested in. I am just wondering what sort of legal or council issues I will need to deal with before committing to an offer?

Let me know if furthur clarificaiton needed.

I dont know what exactly he is trying to build but this property i am interested in is a double storey so I suppose its alright with the sunlight?

No common land as its not going to be units.

Check the contract - if you want to put a fence up you might be up for the full cost, not just half

Shouldn't be any serious issues as far as I can tell otherwise....
