How far are you from the centre of the universe (DaleGG)?

Hi,

I've been thinking about the thread about Brisbane accountants (http://www.somersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?p=120290#post120290) and am interested in finding out which forumite & client of Dale lives the furthest away from the centre of the universe - Dale's office.

Admittedly Dale does move around, so your distance from the centre will vary over time, as such I've arbitrarily defined his office in Kilsyth, Victoria as the fixed centre of the universe.

So if you are a client of Dale, how many KM away from his office do you live?

Here's a reference to help Australian-based clients: http://www.whereis.com.au/whereis/mapping/geocodeAddressesForDirectionsEntry.do (using toll roads is OK, after all you want to get to the centre fast!)

I'll start...

I am precisely 681.74 km from the centre of the universe.

Cheers,

Aceyducey

From where I live to the office, roughly 8km...

From where I live to where Dale lives, roughly 15m. (no, wait... probably still around 8km going by where he spends most of his time...) ;)

Awww James, I was going to try for the closest award!
Mind you, Mrs G-G might have something to say if I was 15m away ;)

The centre of the Universe...

19.14km to 87 Colchester Rd.......... the whereis site says 26 minutes, but I don't think I have ever achieved this............ must be driving too slow :D

Cheers,

The Y-man

Try using this site to calculate the distance...

http://www.indo.com/distance/

ie:

Distance between Tokyo, Japan and Melbourne, Australia: 8,162 km

Distance between Doha, Qatar and Melbourne, Australia: 11,984 km

pjb89 - that's an awfully long way to go for an accountant :)

Cheers,

Do I beat the resident aussies?

3785.51 km and 50hrs 58mins if you don't stop for the numerous pit stops that i tend to take whilst driving cross country

and of course you all wanted to know that :D
