Information on Drainage/Plumber pricing for new house

Hi there,

I've just received my long awaited Building Permit for a PPOR & am currently receiving quotes on various trades I will require to get the ball rolling (as I'm doing this as an Owner Builder)...

I've currently received 3 quotes from Drainers/Plumbers who do the drainage work, storm water work, internal/external plumber (although we would provide taps, hot water systems, appliances, toilets, sinks, etc. & they just plug them in) & quotes are coming back around $10k. I almost fell off my chair, as the only material provided is 100mm pipes for drainage, 90mm pipes for storm water (which I would provide down pipes & they will connect them), internal water pipes for rough in, gas pipes for heater & hws & payment for the digging machinery to lay the underground plumbing (gutters to be installed by others). Is that about right? Just didn't exect it to be so high...

Cheers,

Manny.
