Hi Robbiep, it's not just a wife thing.

I have the same problem with my husband; he just isn't into wealth creation, property or anything like that - he is happy in his job and earns a very high income. He doesn't even want to retire early! I have got him books but he doesn't read them. He doesn't even come and see the properties he buys!

The only thing I found that works is doing a simple report with all the figures relating to the investments we have. Then I sit him down with a beer (necessary) before going through it with him to show how they will work to make us money so he doesn't have to work to make us money, if he doesn't want to.

I follow Kirsty Dunphy and she has a couple of books, it may not be in line with your typical 'property investor' although Kirsty runs her own Property Management business and is financially free, her blogs tell me she travels more than she is in her office due to the way she structured her business and she is also a young mum.
