IP's and being young

I.P's and being young and PRUDENT

I knew that what used to be called pre Nuptial agreements had been made legal some time ago and was looking for something that explained them before posting here-- This site and its links explains them and how to go about creating the agreement http://www.taxlawyers.com.au/manuals/prenup.htm

It could become a little costly if you wanted to undertake such an agreement with every girlfiend-- or "jeune fille du jour" LOL! The page is on Brett Davis lawyers Site. Hope it helps to clarify for you. Incidentally it should not just be men who look to make a BFA. So often the female has more assets when entering a relationship and should be well advised to seek a BFA from her partner --just common sense and clears the air--

As was just said, unless you have a child with someone, or live with them for at least 2 years in QLD you have nothing to worry about

If you and a partner wanted to live together, could you add her as a roommate in a lease and require she pay rent. This way she isn't acquiring any equity.
