Laminate v Vinyl

Hi All,

I am looking at putting new flooring in my main room and i have finally decided on a style / color coding. See attached.

At the moment, i have to decide between a laminate vs vinyl floor. They both look really good, but cant decided which would be better to go with.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Any budget restrictions?

I have the impression that vinyl plank flooring (not vinyl sheet) is better than laminate.

Flooring expert in SS should be able to tell you.

Sorry, i attached a photo in previous post.

My budget is around $60-70 per sqm, which is the cost of the vinyl or laminate installed.

Its vinyl planks, which are about 5mm thick.

I must admit.. i am leaning towards the vinyl
