As the bushfire tragedy continues to shock everyone in Victoria, I can't help but notice that all the media and high profile sportsmen/politicians etc is totally focused on the plight of the area north of Melbourne, which is the worst affected region.
It seems to me that the affected areas to the south of Traralgon, where 21 people have died so far, has been largely ignored by media, with the exception of the occasional cross.
Because I have a strong connection to Gippsland, then that is where I would prefer to donate (in addition to the donation I already made to the Red Cross).
