LL Insurance Claim History?

Ive spoken to a few people who have multiple IPs, and they all sleep well at night because they have both building insurance and LL insurance.

however, there is always the question when applying for LL insurnace "have you made a claim in the past 2-3 years"

I assume that if you have made a claim either your premium goes up or they reject your application, so how do people with lots of IPs or have ips in crappy areas compensate/overcome this issue?

I've never heard of an insurer (so far) rejecting an application.

They pay their premium if they want insurance.
