My husband i are looking to meet with similar minded people, someone who is willing to share advice, give guidance and build a friendship along the way.

We are me nearly 30:eek:
Hubby nearly 29.
We have 2 kids girl nearly 5 and boy nearly 2.
We have 3 house and live south of Brisbane.

Looking forward to meeting some of you

Keep an eye out in the Meeting Point section of this forum for events that are set up for info and/or socialising/networking. Ozperp (Tracey) often organises gatherings for the Brissy members.

Yes, Adria, I'm going to try and make it to the BIG gathering, too. And Richard (lukentel) and I are thinking of organising some regular Friday afternoon drinks for property investors, but I'd floated the idea and not gotten any interest previously... perhaps I should just organise it, and when people have a day and time they'll make up their minds. So watch out for that.

What part of Brissie are you in, Adria?
 
I'd be interested in attending if I can manage around work etc.. can someone please add me to whatever BIG list there is?

Obviously I didn't quite get around to organising things for the 27th... but I did scout out a potential venue. St Paul's Tavern on the corner of Leichhardt St and Wharf St, Spring Hill, fits my location criteria (close enough to CBD for public transportees to walk, but with good parking for those in cars). They have a room which might be ideal for us to meet and talk, which would be free provided we're happy with non-exclusive use (which seems fine to me).

What do others think of this option? I've never been there so if it's known as a gay bar or bikie hangout or something, please tell me! :eek: It looks OK from the photos on the web site, and I know there's good parking.

And what time? 5pm? 5:30pm?
 
Hi Guys I would be really interested. I have been trawling websites looking for like-minded people and it seems that I have found it! We are property investors who don't work anymore in employment and so we find that we are often looking for others to hang with as none of our friends or family do what we do. you lot seem perfect!!!
