We live on a split block in eastern Melbourne (we own the front block). The rear block currently get their services from underneath our house (Electricity and water).
Their Electricity meter is in our meter box, and there are three water meters on the block; our's, their's and the main one.
I have identified a possible water leak in their water supply and I believe the source to be underneath our house.
I guess my question is how would you approach it, or where do you guys think we stand legally. Although at the moment my main concern is the structure of our house.
Personally, I would prefer to have them move all services over to the common drive way (but that is all concreted along the length of the property) and I don't know what cost's we would be up for.
If anyone knows a good property solicitor in the eastern suburbs I would love to get some details.
