With interest rates heading in the right direction now and the new FHOG I thought I would pop my duplex on here in case anyone might be interested.
The location is about 15 minutes south of Wollongong on the Princes Highway and around 1 1/4 hours south of Sydney. The duplex is directly across from the wetlands on the estate so lovely water views and plenty of wildlife such as black swans, pelicans etc. The estate is limited to only 450 homesites and all of the homes are high quality builds so it is shaping up to be a very classy estate. They are building boardwalks and so forth next to the Lake, the estate is on Lake Illawarra so handy for yachties too.
We have worked very hard to make this a great duplex, we were aiming at executive couples wanting a handy commute as the estate is directly off the highway. Idea was not to sell but if we sell this we can salvage the WA properties that are still on the market too and offload some of the debt we have accumulated over the last year in trying to hang in there. The rental returns should come in around $395-$400 per week according to the agent.
