hi people,
We have a property in Scarborough Beach,WA. that has been insured through RAC.We have recieved a letter stating
"RAC insurance is no longer offering cover on investment properties that have a construction type of asbestos,hardi plank or fibro".
Has anyone encounted this in the past?and could anyone recommend an alterative company.

Hi there Steve,

Suggest you try an insurance broker. They can not only advise you on differing policies but do quotes thru varying insurance companies. Their fee for doing this is very little.
I've been using one for all our insurances - business & equip, landlords insurance, home, contents, 3 cars, public liability etc.

Just a thought. But no sorry, I haven't had an experience such as yours.
