North Melbourne. Thoughts?

Just want to find out what people think of units in North Melbourne along and near Abbotsford St. Generally can pick up 2BR for $400k-$450k in an older block. Seems to be a good deal considering close to CBD

That sounds too cheap for those locations? Have you got any examples? I'd love to buy a 2BR PPOR in those suburbs in that price range, but always assumed it wasn't doable.

Also check out West Melbourne - in North Melb, lots of good flats, but be aware of where the big housing commission flats/towers are and try not to be directly opposite or too close.

You are talking about flats, which is a similar price in many suburbs. Not sure where you find landed stuff at $400-450k
