NSW process

Hi Guys,

Just a little confused with the development process in NSW. So correct me if i'm wrong but are these the right steps:

1. DA
2. Engineering permit
3. Construction certificate (Builders certificate in VIC?)

Also, does anyone use interior designers to help them choose colour schemes and product finishes for their development? And if so any great company anyone can recommend in Sydney?

Depending upon the job, I would use Otto Design at Summer Hill

HI Scott thanks for your reply and Info. My impression of OttoDesign is that they mostly design for commercial businesses.

Can anyone recommend an interior designer in Sydney? I am also wanting to renovate my PPOR as well. Any recommended interior designers in Syd would be great!

They do a lot of retail/commercial work but also handle residential.

The relevant Council website should provide information on the approval process (assuming you are not proposing a development that is State significant - see www.planning.nsw.gov.au).
